What a phenomenal couple of days in London celebrating the very best of UK manufacturing. We’re incredibly proud to share that Sotek Engineering has been recognised as one of The Great 100 businesses for 2025 — a huge achievement for our entire team and a milestone we’ll be celebrating for a long time to come.
A Festive Start to the Celebrations
Day one began with the train to Paddington, a quick stop at the hotel, and then straight into the Christmas spirit at the Leicester Square Christmas Market. It was the perfect setting to reconnect with the MadeIn Group, soak up the festive atmosphere, and enjoy a well-earned drink or two.
Day Two: A Prestigious Welcome at the House of Lords
We kicked off the second day with a visit to the House of Lords, where we were welcomed by Lord Whitby. This was an invaluable opportunity to meet fellow MadeIn members, politicians, and industry leaders — a room full of people championing the future of British manufacturing.
The Great 100 Awards Ceremony
After a quick turnaround to get suited and booted, we made our way to the evening’s main event: The Great 100 Awards Ceremony.
We’re thrilled to say that Sotek Engineering was honoured as one of the Great 100 businesses — a recognition that means a great deal to us. It reflects the hard work, innovation, and dedication of our team, and it reinforces our commitment to driving excellence within UK manufacturing.
The celebrations continued well into the evening before we made our way back to Newton Abbot the next morning — tired, happy, and incredibly proud.
